Dr. Michael Pin
Michael Pin, M.D., is the founder of Santa Clarita Advanced Medical Care. Dr. Pin was educated at Georgetown University, USC and UCLA. Dr. Pin has provided Family and Urgent Care in Santa Clarita Valley since 1983. Dr. Pin is a Board Certified Family Practioner, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice, an active member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Pin is on staff at Providence Holy Cross and Henry Mayo Hospital.
Dr. Pin's mission is to treat every patient with sincerity, respect and compassion and provide prompt, affordable, quality Health Care when you need it.
Dr. Steve Yi
Dr. Steve Yi is board certified in Family Medicine, received his
medical degree from AUC and completed his residency from Hennepin
County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. He served as a chief resident
and was the recipient of the Eldon Berglund award for his academic
excellence, educational commitment and abiding concern for the welfare
of his patients.
Dr. Yi believes in delivering high quality health care through education
and prevention. He also believes in approaching every patient with
respect and kindness. He enjoys snowboarding, traveling, hiking,
reading and spending time with his wife and 2 year old son. He is
bilingual in English and Korean.
Emily Wandel, PA-C
Emily Wandel, PA-C, obtained her Physician Assistant degree from Butler University. She has worked in emergency and internal medicine, specializing in nephrology. Emily has experience coordinating clinical trials for anemia and bone health. She is a resident of Santa Clarita and enjoys hiking, jogging, and yoga. Emily feels privileged to be part of a health care team that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to the community of Santa Clarita.
Jesse De La O, PA-C
Jesse De La O, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant, specializing in orthopedics. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Science from California State University, Northridge and received his Physician Assistant certification from Stanford University, School of Medicine. In addition to working at Santa Clarita Advanced Medical Care, Jesse works part-time in orthopedic surgery at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center.
Jesse is commited to delivering high quality, competent and compassionate health care, while striving to continue personal and professional development. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Ashleigh Bodell
Ashleigh grew up in Fremont, NE. She got her Bachelors of Science in Genetics from the University of Kansas, then went on to get her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences.
Ashleigh enjoys her time off playing with her dogs, going to the gym, hiking, gardening, reading, and spending as much time at the beach as possible.
Before Ashligh came to us at Advanced Medical Care, she was in Nephrology focusing on dialysis patients, so she has extensive knowlege in hypertension and anemia management, as well as end stage renal disease.
Ashleigh has chosen work in an urgent care because of the variety and the daily challenges.
